Fashion Roller-coaster

Edited by Jennine

Wow… we’ve got an interesting bunch this week… word from fashion weeks has put us on a roller coaster from the creepy toenails on Shoe Daydreams to the stunning Alexander McQueen on ferOHHHsh, a much needed shopping bill of rights ondramatis personaeand Bay Area Style File wonders why cigarette cases are marketed to teens at Urban Outfitters. We’ve also got some new faces in our round up including one of my favorite French blogs, Morning by Foley whose beautiful photography reminds me how sweet fashion really is.

The World is Buzzing

The Fashion world has got to be buzzing about the Alexander McQueen show. I’m not going to add a lot more to what has already been said or covered other than to say… I wonder how long those models got to train on the shoes…

The clothes took a huge back seat to these babies.

I really love most of McQueen’s shoes. It will be interesting to see how these get translated when retail comes around. There were more “wearable” styles but these fetish exaggeration styles really stole the show.

Sale Selections

Here is just a taste of some of the things I’m going to be posting for Sale.

Let me know if you are interested!

UPDATED:
I have taken these off of Flickr so I don’t violate the ToS (oops!) so if you saw something while they were up, just email me for pics. I will post a dedicated page soon with all this pics again.

Major Markdowns!!!

I have this bad habit of buying stuff because it is lovely or because I’m trying to work outside my comfort zone or I’m just totally acquisitive. Because of this major flaw I am often left with a whole bunch of things I love but have never even worn.

Then there are those fabulous items that I’ve only worn a few times but I really just need to make room for more new fabulous things. And as I tend to baby my stuff, it’s all in really really great, if not pristine, shape.

What does all this mean???

It means I have great things to sell. I’m going to start with selling the clothes of all sizes and some accessories directly through this site. I will be posting them here shortly. Payment can be done via PayPal which I will provide or a check but for the latter, check will need to clear before shipping. Prices will be before shipping.

A few of the vintage pieces will go on Market Publique and the shoes and some of the more housewares type things will be on eBay. Since my shoe size is pretty small I thought it needed a broader reach.

If you are interested in any of the pieces or have any questions, please email me at:
princesspoochie@shoedaydreams.com or ask me via Twitter @princesspoochie

Thanks!
Poochie
