Ensemble du Jour

I really think I should take photos in advance of outfits I think I might want to wear rather than a week late. Looking at this combo in this light, I’m not too sure about the purples going together.

Oh, well, what’s done is done.

I’m wearing a purple cardigan with crystal buttons from New York & Co. over a black camisole and a purple tweed skirt from Target. The heels are the same Target peep-toes from earlier in the week (lazy me!) and elbow-length gloves pushed down to tea length.

Hell-o!

Happy Friday!

It is all so cute. I've always loved that JCrew Astrid jacket – and I've been wanting a velvet or at least velour jacket for a while now. Keep looking so snazzy!

Aren't they great, Ash? I tracked them down after I saw them in Lucky magazine ages ago. I still have the page from the feature.

Tulip skirts really can be so hard to wear! Yours looks really darling on though. You've got this adorable preppy thing going on.

shoe daydreamer, i wanted to ask you – how many shoes do you own in total ?

Anon – Hmmm… not sure. It's probably somewhere around 200. I have a set amount of space and will often sell off or get rid of shoes that I'm not as passionate about to make room for newer pieces.ThanksPoochie

thanks for the answer. i also own about 200 pairs and i have a space problem too (basically despite the fact that i ve got lots of wardbores i cant actually place my shoes there) and i keep them in boxes too, so i was interested in knowing how many you've got in total.where and how do you sell/or get rid of the ones you are not feeling anymore ?i also liked your posts about various colours and would like to ask you to do the rest :)) like blue green gold etc

Anon – I keep all of mine in their boxes too. For selling, I'm using a local consignment store or ebay. And I am definitely going to be doing more of the color series. I just need to find time to take some pictures!ThanksPoochie
