Aw, I have done the exact same thing to two of my iPhones too! Now I have a strict put-my-phone-in-my-bag-before-getting-out-of-the-car policy (the pavement in parking lots seems to be my biggest foe). Also, don't know if you already looked at repair options or not, but this guy (http://www.cupertinoiphone.com/) is kind of a miracle worker. He repaired my last phone to perfection for only $79. SO much more reasonable than Apple!
